New Lincoln Continental. Saw one the other day while driving with my friend that works for Ford. His thoughts, “Yea, we aren’t doing a very good job of trying to sell that car are we?”
Also saw a nice 570S on my way home friday, and that same 911R yesterday.

I saw more advertising for that car before it was available than I have since it went on sale.

Was it a Continental or was it a refreshed MKZ?

Thought it was a MKZ, until we saw the back. New Conti in the flesh.

You may want to tell your friend at ford that too. There’s not much point in a flagship if it’s only unique for 6 weeks.

One of my local Ford-Lincoln dealers has one sitting right outside the showroom in white...literally sitting in front of the front doors, so that everyone that walks in sees it before they go inside.

I saw my first one on the road this weekend as well. Good looking car on the road

Yup. Lincoln is kind of an internal joke at this point there too....

Yet the only commercials we get are some weird Matthew Mcconaughey jumping into a pool in a suit “the feeling” junk.

As long as it depreciates like a used bandaid, I’ll be happy. Hopefully low mileage loaded examples still be available for about $30k in two years when I will be shopping for my wife’s car.

Hot take: I think these look pretty good.

not from what I’ve heard. AFAIK the launch is being done deliberately slowly to ensure there isn’t another debacle like the 2013 MKZ launch,

Yeah I didn’t know, I live in SF though, where private vehicles are Japanese or German and airport rides are Lincolns.

I have to admit, I ripped on Lincoln for not even trying, but the Continental has won me over, which is odd considering it has none of the things I would expect a credible luxury car to have (RWD chassis, powerful V8, bold styling).
I don’t think you can get a more comfortable (or elegant) interior unless you double your budget and get an S-Class (and even then, I doubt Mercedes can beat Lincoln’S 30-way seats).

Maybe they’re keeping it on the DL until either Trump or Clinton parades down Pennsylvania Avenue in a dark blue one in front of all the world’s cameras.
JK, Cadillac got the Presidential limo contract all locked up, yet again.

I agree, looks like a nice place to spend time.
